There are hundreds of excellent speakers who talk on the topic of leadership and will give you the theories and models that we all know and love ... so what makes me different?
- I like to keep things simple and practical - the theories are important but it is how you put them into practice that matters.
- I use a memorable metaphor to illustrate some of the key behaviours needed to be an effective leader.
- I will put authenticity at the heart of leadership - if you are not true to yourself then why should anyone else trust, respect or follow you?
Using my own German Shepherd (KENO) and his pack of canine companions, I will illustrate patterns of effective behaviour to show the parallels between leading a pack of dogs and the human leadership requirements in today's high pressure workplace. I will demonstrate how the skills needed to become the pack leader translate into a range of behavioural patterns, through which you will develop flexibility and choice in your response and take control of both your mindset and actions to be a more authentic leader.
